An urban intervention involving 2270 linear meters, of which 1817 underground meters, revolutionizing the road network in Casablanca: welcome to the new Almohades tunnel!
The project is a major impact not only because it greatly facilitates congestion in the city, but also as far as safety is concerned. By eliminating all the intersections along the Almohades’ avenues and developing 2×2 roads, it was possible to decongest traffic, allow the passage of trams and develop new public parking areas.
PUK has been commissioned to install LED lighting in the tunnel, which can greatly improve the visibility of motorists and thus increase passenger safety. The lighting power of our outdoor products combined with the latest technologies and extreme resistance to atmospheric agents, make the products chosen for the Almohades Tunnel highly efficient and durable over time.
