Creekside 18A, Dubai, UAE 2019
Dubai Creek Harbour is an ambitious urban development project located along the historic banks of Dubai Creek, northeast of downtown Dubai. This coastal complex covers about six square kilometers and is an example of integration between modernity and nature, as it’s located near the Ras Al Khor Nature Reserve, habitat for approximately 450 species of animals, including pink flamingos.
One of its most iconic features is undoubtedly the Dubai Creek Tower, destined to become the tallest structure in the world, surpassing the Burj Khalifa by 100 meters. The tower offers panoramic observatories and is surrounded by a variety of shops, restaurants and public spaces. The building is really impressive but this is also due to the lighting, PUK has thought about this to realize this “lighting project”. The lights, create a play of lights that makes these illuminated towers even more colossal and infinite. A project that really points high, in the sky and among the clouds of Dubai.
Lighting becomes an integral part of the design, emphasizing the vertical lines and height of buildings. At night, the complex lights up like a lighthouse, drawing attention to this futuristic vision of Dubai.
