An efficient, eco-friendly and sustainable transportation system: the Bergen Light Rail is an essential light rail designed to minimize passenger traffic emissions in Bergen and it was completed in 2022. With its high capacity and the use of clean and reliable technology, this light rail system meets the needs of passengers and tourists, spanning over 20 kilometers and featuring 27 stops.
One of the main objectives in the project’s implementation was to create a unified structure that met the primary requirements of a railway system while simultaneously respecting the unique environment provided by the Norwegian landscape.
Within this architecture, our outdoor lighting systems have been specifically chosen to provide functional illumination to the light rail passengers and, at the same time, to create a lighting experience that harmonizes with the structure and defines the project, setting the Bergen light rail apart from others in Norway and in the surrounding areas.
