The Amara Hotel is a luxurious five-star hotel opened in July 2019, it was designed to offer a unique living experience, defined by modern architecture and interiors cared for by renowned designers. The name “Amara” comes from the Greek word “Amarantos”, which means “eternal” and symbolizes beauty.
Its privileged location offers panoramic sea views, with easy access to historic sites such as the ruins of the ancient kingdom of Amathus. The hotel has 207 rooms, including 31 suites. Each room is equipped with a sea view, private balconies and a range of ultra-modern amenities.
Luxury and design are the fundamental principles that PUK has considered for the creation of this “lighting project”. The spotlights and linear sources inserted, create an atmosphere of soft light, perfectly in line with the elegant context of the hotel. Every room is characterized by beams of light coming from both the bottom and the top, thus outlining each corner and shape of the structure and becoming an integral part of it.
Every detail has been carefully designed to create relaxing and enveloping atmospheres. The aim was to make guests feel immediately immersed in a warm and welcoming environment, where light welcomes is accompanied by all areas – both internal and external – of the hotel.
